STUDENT CENTRALITY IN THE
EDUCATIONAL PROJECT
The BHSB educational project has been created considering the student’s individuality and at the same time his/her belonging to a group, therefore supporting the cognitive, emotional, relational and ethical needs of each student. The teachers’ ability to listen and to intervene are therefore aimed at answering all the existential questions of the students, who see the teachers as a point of reference for themselves and their families.

TEACHING CONTINUITY
In order to guarantee students an educational curriculum based on teaching continuity, the BHSB privileges team building, the sharing of values and the management of ongoing working relationships with teachers, who thus remain constant reference figures for students.

INNOVATIVE TEACHING
Aware of the importance of an appropriate up to date educational curriculum, BHSB is at the forefront in the use of the most modern technological systems and tools. Each classroom has the latest IWB, while the teaching staff is constantly updated to ensure truly innovative teaching.

SEN CONTACT PERSON
The inclusion and educational success of all students is the main purpose of BHSB. To address all educational needs, therefore the school has a specialist Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher within its staff responsible for welcoming and taking charge of the students.

STUDENT COUNSELLING CORNER
BHSB offers students an innovative counselling corner. Each class has a teacher-tutor who organizes periodic meetings with each student, to evaluate any difficulties or weaknesses and eventually identify the best action strategies, which are shared with the class teachers’ council and the family.

SHORT WEEK
The choice of the short week stems from families’ needs, as well as allowing students a more extended learning time. Two consideration is given to the high percentage of families residing outside Brescia, for which transfer times represent a “constraint” for the organization of the school. In addition, the 5-day week allows families to spend time with their children.
